Health Minister Kaul Singh Thakur meets Union Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh, in New Delhi, today, and requested him to restore the air services at all airports of the State.
Kaul Singh Thakur apprised the Union Minister that the tourism industry in the State was badly being affected due to termination of air services and requested him to initiate efforts for restoration of air services during ensuing summer season.
Minister He said that large number of International tourists from Europe visit Dharamshala to seek blessings of Tibetian Spiritual Leader, his Holiness Dalai Lama and other popular tourist destinations at Shimla, Kullu and Dharamshala round the year.
He urged the Union Government to hire small Choppers for the State and restore air traffic on all three airports. Ajit Singh assured him for resolving the issue soon.
