Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission has directed all private universities to upload admissions detail on their website by 18th August, 2013. Regulatory Commission has also directed all private universities to send written intimation about the admissions to the Commission by 20th August, 2013.
Abide with schedule prescribed by the Supreme Court of India, Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission had earlier fixed the last date for admission in under graduate engineering courses, for which admissions were to be made on the basis of JEE/Merit in the qualifying examinations, as 15th August, 2013.
Regulatory Commission has fixed the last date for admission to other courses as 31st August, 2013 and has asked the all Private Universities to upload the detail of admissions on their website by 30th August, 2013. The written intimation should be sent to the Regulatory Commission by 4th September, 2013.
Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Commission has been established by the Govt of Himachal Pradesh under section 3 of the Himachal Pradesh Private Educational Institutions (Regulatory Commission) Act, 2010 for providing a regulatory mechanism in the state and for working as an interface between the state government and central regulatory bodies for ensuring appropriate standards of admission, teaching examination, research and protection of interest of students in the private Educational institutions and for matters connected therewith of incidental thereto.
