State government has awarded Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering & Technology at Pragati Nagar, Kotkhai. It’ll be a first of its kind institute that will accommodate Engineering College, Polytechnic College & ITI under one roof. The main focus of the college will be imparting the work based education that will make students enable to find good job. Classes will commence from academic year 2011-12.
Horticulture & Technical Education Minister Narinder Bragta said
“This is indeed a huge leap for all of us. It was my long held desire to provide quality education to the youth at their door steps for which they had to go very far and spend enormous money. This will open up a lot of avenues for the youth. I am happy I have been able to contribute and will keep doing so in future too”
