To distribute micro-insurance products at an affordable cost through over 1,000 common service centres (Lok Mitra Kendra), Future Generali India Insurance Limited has inked a pact with Zoom Developers Limited, a service centre agency (SCA. Its initial target is to reach out one lakh households through the association and will start at Kangra, Una and Chamba districts.
Head of Rural Business, Future Generali India Insurance Ltd, Ajay Verma said as per the national e-governance plan of the Centre, the kendras were proposed delivery points for government, private and social sector services to rural citizens under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
