Shimla: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Election 2019, the Indian National Congress has revoked Shimla Congress leader Harish Janartha suspension. Rajneesh Kimta stated that the state party president Kuldeep Singh Rathore has revoked Janartha’s suspension and hoped that Janartha to work to strengthen the party.
Janartha, former deputy mayor of Shimla MC and vice-chairman of HPTDC, has good supporters base in Shimla city and his inclusion into the party fold expecting to strengthen party in the city and can boost party prospect in Lok Sabha Election.
Harish Janartha had unsuccessfully contested Assembly Election 2017 as an independent candidate after party snubbed him for Harbhajan Singh Bajji, who came fourth in the election. Harish Janartha came second with 12109 votes, while Congress official candidate could garner only 2680 votes.

Janartha also got support of Shimla rural legislature Vikramaditya Singh’s support as well.
