State BJP has accused the Congress for hatching conspiracy to defame the previous Prem Kumar Dhumal led regime and dared the government to order an inquiry into the alleged phone tapping by any agency.
While addressing press at Shimla, state BJP spokesperson Ganesh Dutt claimed that the BJP regime was in no way involved in the alleged act and the party wanted the guilty to be punished. He dared the Govt to order probe in it and also demanded to make the names of errant officials public. He also demanded to disclose the list of phones which were allegedly tapped.
He alleged that the Congress led Govt was trying to defame the BJP led Govt by a false propaganda. He also reiterated Prem Kumar Dhumal’s statement in which he had asked Virbhadra Singh to conduct independent inquiry into it.
Ganesh Dutt accused Virbahdra Govt for diverting the attention of the public from important issues. He advised Govt to fulfill the promises that it made to the electorate during the Assembly elections including unemployment allowance.
