Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal is given tumultuous welcome in Kotkhai by the people who have assembled in thousands to celebrate his birthday. He was taken in open jeep followed by cavalcade of hundreds of vehicles to the venue. People in hundreds stood on the road as soon as he entered the Jubbal and Kotkhai constituency to their leader to give traditional welcome.
The people of the area led by Horticulture Minister Narinder Bragta had made a ‘Laddu’ weighing 67 Kg. which Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister cut to mark his birthday. The people of the area were in a rejoicing mood and tasteful cultural programme was also presented on the occasion.
Chief Minister thanked the people of Jubbal and Kotkhai for their love and affection and celebrating his birthday in a befitting manner. Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal has also thanked all the persons who had sent greetings, telephoned him to convey greetings and called on him on his birthday to greet. He said that it was their love and affection which has always given him strength to serve the people of the State.
