The President of India Pranab Mukherjee was given a warm send off at Baddi in Solan district today after his three days visit to Himachal Pradesh from 23rd to 25th May, 2013.
Governor Urmila Singh, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, G.S. Bali, Transport Minister, Sudhir Sharma, Urban Development Minister, P. Mitra, Additional Chief Secretary, V.C. Pharka, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Meera Mohanti, Deputy Commissioner, Solan, S. Arul Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Baddi and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
Earlier, in the morning, the President of India was seen off at Kalyani helipad 13 kms from Shimla by Brij Behari Lal Butail, Speaker, H.P. Vidhan Sabha, Sanjay Chauhan, Mayor, MC Shimla, Sudripta Roy, Chief Secretary, B. Kamal Kumar, Director General of Police, Lt. General B. S. Sachar, SM, VSM, Chief of Staff ARTRAC and senior officers of the State Government among others.
