Chairperson, Himachal Pradesh Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section Pratibha Singh called on Governor Urmila Singh, at Raj Bhawan here today.
Governor Urmila Singh said that Red Cross activities were playing a significant role in providing succour to the poor and needy. She said that the timely financial assistance and medical aid being provided by the Red Cross had benefitted many underpriviliged. She said that the activities under the aegis of Red Cross should be strengthened further for the benefit of the society.
Pratibha Singh apprised the Governor about the activities proposed to be undertaken by the Red Cross Hospital Welfare Section during the current year. She assured the Governor that Red Cross activities would be carried out with all sincerity and dedication.
