Kullu police claimed to solve the murder mystery of four-year-old Sumit Kumar of Nirmand by arresting Chander Kishore, a labourer from Bihar. Accused was living there for the last few years.
The accused was sent to eight days police remand after he was produced in the local court for. The police got hold of the labourer after the forensic examination team collected evidence from the spot and established the vital link with the accused in the case.
Police claimed that they had arrested the accused after the police had established the vital links. However police is yet to ascertain the motive behind the mysterious murder.
Earlier police had recovered body from an empty cement bag, wrapped in a soap carton, from a nearby field of a local government school. The body has been sent for the post-mortem.
