Himachal Police have arrested three persons who were caught red-handed while trying to hack an ATM in Hamirpur. Two arrested are from Shimla and other belongs to Delhi. Police said that gang comprises 5 to 6 people and police suspecting that this gang is involved in various ATM hackings in North India. Police said that earlier they received the complaint from PNB Bank officials at Palampur police station saying that money of some of the ATM users had been fraudulently withdrawn. Acting on their complaint, police take the help from the CCTV footage of 38 hours and found the videos of the culprits. After caring out search operations police received complaints from the different banks.
With the help of CCTV footage and investigation police finally nabbed three of the gang members from the kiosk of the SBI ATM in Hamirpur where they had already stolen Rs 15,000 and were preparing to withdraw more.
