It’s reported that the Himachal Pradesh University is facing staff shortage in both the teaching and non-teaching categories. The statistics clears that 215 posts of teaching and 300 of non-teaching are lying vacant. According to data from the registrar`s office as on May 31, 32 posts of professors, 61 of associate professors and 97 assistant professors are lying vacant and in the years to come the university is likely to face immense shortage of staff in both teaching and non-teaching categories.
