As assembly elections are approaching, the Himachal Pradesh PTA Teachers Association is gearing up to enforce their rights from the government. As there are more then 10,000 PTA teachers in the schools at various capacities, it’ll be interesting to see the government move.

PTA Teachers Association has demanded the state government to clear their pending payments and also demanded for the increased salary. Association also demanded for the policy with regard to the regularisation of PTA teachers. Association state vice-president Pankaj Kumar and Chamba unit president Vijay Kumar today appealed to the teachers to be united and fight against the victimisation being meted to them by the government.

From the last 4 years PTA teachers are getting remuneration between 3800 to 4500 per month, depends on their post and irony is they do not get their salary in time. Some time they get their salary after 3-4 months.
