The police has arrested Khem Raj of Sandoli village under Markand-Maakadi gram panchayat, allegedly killing Babbli Devi in her house last night. It is learned that Babbli Devi was not legally married to Khem Raj, but she had been living with him in his house for the past four years along with her four children.
Police said that Khem Raj came home drunk and had a quarrel with Babbli. Then in a fit of rage he attacked her with a wooden splint, and it caused the reason of her death. Neighbors informed the police in the morning and SP Santosh Patial, along with a team of police, arrived at the spot immediately and arrested Khem Raj.
