Himachal Pradesh State Election Commission has appointed Divisional Commissioner Mandi Devesh Kumar as Observer for the Municipal Corporation, Dharamshala election scheduled to be held on 27th March, 2016.
H.P. State Election Commission official told today that nomination paper for Dharamshala M.C Elections would be submitted on 4th, 5th and 8th March.
247 applications for inclusion of names in electoral rolls had been received upto 29th February, 2016 for which the decision would be taken by Deputy Commissioner, Kangra before 8th March, 2016.
He informed that the State Election Commission has taken a serious note on Deputy Commissioner Kangra Ritesh Chauhan for leaving the District Headquarter without prior permission of the Commission during the election process, and sought an explanation from him.
