A case of taking higher charges from people by Sulabh international has come in to light at Bilaspur bus stand. Today people protested against the workers of the firm. Finally the police came on the spot and the workers of Sulabh international apologized in written.
From last few days news was there that the firm is charging more money than the decided rates as they were charging Rs. 5 instead of Rs. 2. But today the limit crossed when they charged Rs. 10 for the same. Then some local youngsters objected on this and informed the city police. In charge of city police station Vipin Kumar came on the spot and looked into the matter after which the workers apologized in written. After that police called the district coordinator of Sulabh international on the spot and ordered him to write the fixed rates on the main door of the toilet. Police also ordered him to write the police helpline number along with the rates so that people can contact the police in any case. The manager of Sulabh international Chandigarh V. K. Singh said that action will be taken against the culprits.
