Shimla: As many as half a dozen people are feared to have been killed in a bus accident in Chamba district on Wednesday.
According to reports a private bus on it’s way from Bodri to Chamba when the accident occurred between Kalauni and Tissa.
The locals intimated the police and rushed to spot to rescue those injured in the accident.
Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed grief over the accident. In his condolence message, Jai Ram Thakur said that he is extremely saddened by the loss of lives. He said that his heartfelt condolences are with the families of the deceased and he prayed for the quick recovery of those injured.
Chief Minister said that immediate relief of Rs. 20,000 has been provided to dependents of each deceased and Rs. 5000 each to injured persons.
