Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today laid foundation stone of various projects worth Rs. 4.24 crore in Taklech Gram Panchayat of Rampur Sub Division in district Shimla.
The Chief Minister laid foundation stone of Office of Assistant Engineer-cum-Residential Complex of the Public Works Department to be completed with an outlay of Rs 58.56 lakh and the Community Health Centre to be constructed at a cost of Rs. 215.86 lakh. The Chief Minister also laid foundation stone of Police Check Post to be constructed a cost of Rs. 103.25 lakh and the Office Building cum Residential Complex of Irrigation and Public Health Department to be completed at a cost of Rs 46 lakh.
Chief Parliamentary Secretary Nand Lal, Chairman Kailash Federation Brij lal, Vice-Chairman HPSIDC Atul Sharma, Director General Police Sanjay Kumar, IG Police GD Bhargva, DC Dinesh Malhotra, SP DW Negi were also present on the occasion amongst others.
Earlier, the Chief Minister was given a rousing traditional welcome by the residents of Taklech and about a dozen nearby Panchayats. On way from Shingla Helipad to Taklech, the Chief Minister met various delegations and assured them to redress their grievances.
