The Shimla unit of CPM lodged a formal complaint with the State Election Commission against BJP leader Health Minister Rajeev Bindal for allegedly pressuring doctors and other employees of Dr Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital to vote in favour of the BJP in the Shimla MC poll. Vijender Mehra, secretary, Shimla local committee of the CPM, urged the Secretary of the EC to stop such violations of the model code of conduct.
