Himachal Pradesh Cabinet Minister G S Bali today narrowly escaped a road accident as his driver suffered a cardiac arrest while driving on the Rupnagar- Chandigarh highway.
The Minister was on his way to New Delhi for an official work and near Ropar driver suffered a cardiac arrest, however he luckily managed to steer the vehicle towards fields, which avoided vehicle collision on the road.
The Transport Minister has escaped unhurt, while the driver was admitted at PGI Chandigarh for treatment.
