Just ahead of parliamentary election, Himachal Pradesh Congress has expanded its core team and added 53 new members in its set up.
With the afford to please everyone in the state, HPCC new set up has inducted two new vice presidents, a general secretary, four executive members, five permanent Invitees and 40 new secretaries.
To attract youth electorates, party has given preference to youth party leaders and inducted former Youth Congress vice president Raghubir Singh Bali and Ashish Butail as state secretaries.
Maheshwar Chauhan, AS Naughty, Harish Janartha, Pawan Nayyar, Chander Prabha Negi, Anil Goel, Rakesh Chouhan, Aishwarya Katoch, Vikram Sharma, Sitaram Bhardwaj, Noru Ram, Narendra Mogra, Brij Lal Thakur, Anita Thakur, Pama Ram, Raj Kumar Soni, Ajay Jogita, Manjit Thakur, Lalit Chouhan, Anita Verma, Ravi Parashar, Kusum Lata, Harish Verma, Surender Walia, KP Sharma, IS Thakur, CS Sharma, Sanjay Rana, Digvijay Puri, Rajnish Chander, Kuldeep Choudhary, MK Gaddi were other 38 leaders inducted as secretaries in HPCC.
Rangila Ram Rao and BR Kishore were appointed Vice presidents, whereas Kishori Lal was made party General Secretary. Tek Chand Dogra, JK Azad, Kush Parmar and BD Choudhary were made party Executive members. Mandi MP Pratibha Singh, Parkash Choudhary, Jagjivan Pal, Kewal Singh Pathania and Krishna Mohini were appointed permanent Invitees of party.
Party loyalist Kuldeep Singh Rathore, who had left party post of HPCC general secretary and was quite vocal against alleged wrong doing of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has been included in the state disciplinary committee.
In the new jumbo set up, Congress has tried to please everyone in the state. Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh has succeeded to appoint his loyalists on important political posts in his Govt and with the new list; he again succeeded to appoint his supporters in the party fold as well.
