Dharamshala: Anurag Thakur, Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) president appeared in front of state Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau over affairs of the sports association here today. As per information, Bureau grilled him for over two hours.
This is a first time when Anurag Thakur appeared before the investigastors since the registration of cases against the HPCA and can be summon again, if Vigilance need him during inquiry.
Besides Anurag Thakur, HPCA officials Vishal Marwah (secretary) and AS Negi (treasurer) were also questioned by the Vigilance Bureau separately.
Soon after questioning, Anurag Thakur informed reporters that he provided all the information sought by the Vigilance Bureau and assured to cooperate with the investigating agency, provided it’s working in a fair manner.
