Transport Minister GS Bali said that the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) will not ply buses during monsoon in landslide-zone areas in the state. He said it in a press conference at Dharamshala.
Bali said that he had received reports from the HRTC staff that at certain places, the buses had a narrow escape due to landslides or slippery zones on roads. In the interest of passengers’ safety, the buses had been stopped till the monsoon was over.
