As promised by the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh has given opportunity to PTA teachers (under GIA to PTA rules 2006) appointed upto 30th December, 2007 and whose services were terminated later to represent themselves.
In a official statement, a spokesperson of the State Government said here today that all PTA provided teachers (under GIA to PTA rules 2006) appointed upto 30th December, 2007 and whose services were terminated later, may present their cases before Saroj Chauhan Jaswal, OSD (C) Directorate of Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh by 15th May, 2013 on the specified Performa along with all the relevant document duly verified/counter signed by the concerned Principal where PTA provided candidate had rendered services. All the concerned may represent their cases through registered post or by hand, he added.
After coming back into power in state, Virbhadra Singh has promised with some concrete step for these teachers and even formed a committee under Chief Secretary to look into their regularization process. If sources believe than Chief Secretary has sent his recommendation to CM office and policy for PTA teachers can be announced anytime.
