Speaker, Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Brij Bihari Lal Butail visited Palampur vowed his committed to the overall development of the Palampur. He promised Palampur residents that he would try to make Palampur a model constituency of the state.
While addressing supporters at Palampur, Butail said that his first priority would be to start all the development activities which had come to a “standstill” during the five-year regime of the BJP. Keeping in view the rising traffic in the town, widening of roads and setting up new parking lots had become necessary.
He said he had initiated steps to improve health services in local civil hospitals. He said that vacant posts of postgraduate doctors will be filled up at the earliest.
He also cautions corrupt people and stated that there would be zero tolerance towards corruption. He asked all the public servants to work hard for implementing policies and programmes of the new government.
