After the suspension of two officials in notorious pulse scam, which had raised question on the working of Govt, Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) blamed that the BJP leaders were involved in it and demanded a CBI inquiry to expose the “politician-bureaucrat-vendor” nexus in it.
HLP spokesman Mohinder Nath Sofat alleged BJP involvement in pulse scam and said that owners of the firm involved in the scam are relatives of a BJP leader, who is a trusted aide of an MLA. Sofat demanded arrest of the owners of the firm; he alleged that even after the real culprits have been pinpointed, the government was trying to shield the guilty.
Sofat also accused ruling BJP of disfiguring walls and pavements along the national highway by writing slogans and urged the Election Commission to take cognizance of actions of the party in power ahead of polls.
