Assembly elections are few months away and most of Congress ticket seekers are trying to put their case effectively in front of the senior leaders. Same case happening in the Nahan constituency, where Kanwar Ajay Bhadur Singh has opened a front against sitting MLA Kush Parmar, son of state founder Dr YS Parmar and lobbing hard for the congress ticket.

In a meeting, many Congress workers and office bearers have demanded party ticket for Kanwar Ajay Bhadur Singh and few leader including Taj Mohammed and Nasir Rawat have threaten to support some other leader if party decided to go with sitting MLA.

In the Nahan constituency, there are nine ticket aspirants of Congress, out of which five ticket aspirants – Taj Mohammed, state president of Muslim welfare committee Naseem Mohammed Didan, Zilla parishad member Nasir Rawat, Mohhamed Iqbal and vice-chairperson of municipal council Yogesh Gupta -have extended support to former MLA Ajay Bhadur Singh. Even district NSUI Chief OP Thakur and newly elected president of SCA of Nahan College Amit Sharma have also rendered their support for the Kanwar Ajay Bhadur Singh.
