The State Information Commission (SIC) headed by Chief information commissioner Bhim Sen has ordered disciplinary action under service rules against Ramesh Chand JE HPSEB posted in Sissu subdivision in Lahaul Spiti for issuing NOC without any authority to a stone crusher owned by M/s Om Prakash Sharma a BRO contractor from Una.
This has been disclosed by Sudershan Thakur RTI activist and President of North India RTI users Association in a press release issued at Manali. According to Thakur, Commissioner has also ordered HPSEB to pay compensation of Rs.5000/ to the TRI applicant as cost and other charges.
He said that stone crusher owner had also not obtained the approval of running two DG set from Chief electrical inspector and also not taken NOC from the concerned panchayat. He also revealed that the state geology department has cancelled the license of the stone crusher being run illegally.
SIC taking serious note of the situation summoned Sr. XEN HPSEB Keylong in-person to appear before in Shimla and explain the dereliction of the duty of employee concerned.
