Government middle school in Toor under the Brehi gram panchayat of Chamba district is being run by a single teacher.
Surprisingly over 150 students are studying in the school run by a single teacher. Local people are demanding more teachers’ staff for better quality of education in the school.
The lack of staff obviously is adversely affecting academics and education for the students is suffering as a result. It is incidents like these that throw doubt on the claims of quality education being trumpeted by the government.
