Rash driving by a private local bus operator killed a 48 year old lady to death near High Court Shimla. Accident happened when private local bus HP-63-2723 tried to overtake another private local bus HP-63-2370 from the wrong side. Eye witness said that bus was stopped to de-boarding the passengers near High Court opposite car parking, but when woman tried to de-board the bus another bus came from the wrong side and crushed her under it and killed her on the spot. One other lady also got injured in the accident as the door of the bus smashed on her. She was rushed to the hospital by the fellow passengers.
Driver of bus fled from the spot; however police has detained the driver of the other bus and the two conductors for questioning. Police is searching for the missing driver.
