In the full house meeting, the Himachal Pradesh Congress has decided to launch a mass movement against the BJP government in the state by highlighting corruption and benami land deals during the monsoon session. Newly appointed state in charge Barinder Singh declares that party is going to launch full campaign against the corruption through state-wide rallies.
After the meeting Barinder Singh told that Himachal land is being sold at throwaway prices in the name of hydropower projects, industry and opening institutions, and maximum land deals had taken place in Solan district. The state Congress is compiling a charge sheet against the government to be submitted to the President for seeking CBI inquiry into the charges and the same would be finalised within next few days. Taking a dig at the BJP, Barinder Singh said that the party has been fully exposed in Punjab and now congress will make BJP’s days count in Himachal.
