While facing public in ‘Prashashan Janta Ke Dwar’ programme at Nurpur, Chief Minister Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal announced that the Government had issued directives to Village level government functionaries, panchayat secretaries, panchayat sahayaks and patwaris to remain available to general public during working hours so that the general public does not face any inconvenience. He said that the law and order machinery should ensure best conditions within their jurisdiction, and that the State Government has directed village level functionaries patwaries to remain available to the general public on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, whereas Panchayat Secretary and Panchayat Sahayaks will have to be present at office during office hours. He also directed police authorities to give a patient hearing to the aggrieved approaching them with various law and order problems.
Prof. Dhumal also spoke about the Atal Swasthya Sewa, which has been launched in different parts of the state with a view to provide people with instant ambulance service free of cost by dialing toll free number 108.
