Shimla: Himachal Youth Congress President Vikramaditya Singh revealed that the Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh isn’t pleased with the clash between Youth Congress and BJP workers.
Vikramaditya, while talking to the press today, revealed that he apprised Chief Minister, who is in Delhi for campaigning in assembly election, about the incident. He revealed the Chief Minister wasn’t fully pleased with the outcome of the protest.
Commenting on the claims of leader of opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal, who had termed the Youth Congress protest as a pre mediated plot, Vikramaditya ridiculed it and termed it far away from the truth.
Vikramaditya stated Youth Congress were holding protest on the nationwide call of Indian Youth Congress on Land Acquisition Ordinance and reiterated initiating it peaceful, but BJP workers blocked their way with the chain and pelted stones and lashed canes on the Youth Congress activists.
Youth Congress President also denied allegations of carrying arms, stones and sticks and accused BJP leaders for hiding truth from the common people. He, however, regretted the violence and also assured to do all possible means to avoid such incidents in the future.
He also advised BJP leaders to move ahead from the incident.
However, the state BJP has intensified pressure on the state government and hold state-wide protest at all district headquarters of the state and demanded arrest of Youth Congress President and other activists involved in clash at BJP office.
Most of party leaders take part in the protest and also submitted memorandum to the Governor through DCs, SDMs.
Vikramaditya Singh obtains Bail from Court
Vikramaditya Singh, who is among those accused of rioting and trespassing, has obtained anticipatory bail from a local court.
