Former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Prem Kumar Dhumal slammed the stat Government for its decision of increasing the retirement age of the government employees by a year.
Dhumal, in press conference at Una, termed it as anti-youth and accused Congress led state government for cheating the unemployed youth. He accused the Congress led state government for cheating youths and even backtracking on its election manifesto promise of giving unemployment allowance to the youth.
Dhumal stated that the Virbhadra government was facing a crisis of confidence situation and latest cabinet decision were purely aiming to divert the attention of the public from the historic defeat of the ruling party in the parliamentary election.
Former Chief Minister accused Singh for putting state exchequer into financial mess. He blamed that wrong policies and faulty planning of the state government had brought the state on the verge of bankruptcy and complete suspension of development activities.
