As a part of the ongoing Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), it’s organising a ‘Mini Marathon’ from The Ridge to Nav Bahar via The Mall, Oak Over, Rajbhavan and Forest Road, Shimla for its employees and their family members on 19th May, 2013.
To propagate the message of “Conserve Energy … Save Energy”, the Marathon will be Flagged Off by R.P Singh, CMD along with R.N Misra, Director (Civil), A.S. Bindra, Director (Finance), N.L. Sharma, Director (Personnel), R.K. Bansal, Director (Electrical) and B.N.S Negi, CVO at 8:00 AM. Various games and events will also be organised for ladies, gents and children at Jesus & Mary Convent School, Nav Bahar, the concluding point of Mini Marathon.
The Silver Jubilee celebrations commenced on 10th May, 2013 with a Blood Donation Camp at Shimla in which more than 80 employees and their family members donated blood. The celebrations will conclude on the Company’s Foundation Day on 24th May, 2013 with a Gala Cultural Evening.
