The Managing Director BSNL Shimla, MC Singh, informed during the reward ceremony that a special campaign ‘Take Today Talk Today, Chalo Gaon Ki Or “ was undertaken last year. Under this campaign, BSNL staff approached consumers through door-to-door visits and sold more than 1.20 lakh prepaid connections.

In the current year, villages with no connectivity will remain the primary target for BSNL, he said. One package offers unlimited calls+data, one offers only data, and the last allows almost unlimited calls per month with unlimited data. These are cheapest cell phone plans for data and voice calls in the present market.
