Himachal Pradesh government has decided to file an FIR against Maharishi Markandeshwar Medical College, for allegedly violating norms and reportedly obstructing the government officers from carrying out their duty by not allowing the inspection team of Directorate of Medical College (DMC) to enter its premises.
Himachal Health and Family Welfare Minister Kaul Singh Thakur verified the decision and revealed that he had directed the concerned officials to lodge an FIR against the college management.
Meanwhile, University Registrar Ajay Singal, while talking over phone, denied any information about inspection team arrival and government decision of filling FIR against University.
