Senior Congress leader and Transport, Food and Civil Supplies and Technical Education Minister GS Bali has asked Chief Minister to intensify probe in all cases listed in the Congress charge-sheet.
GS Bali, while interacting with media, stated that the HP Cricket Association centric investigation had neglected other serious issues pointed out in the charge sheet. He shown concern that the government probe into acts of omission and commission done by the previous Dhumal led state government has stuck with HPCA irregularities and the other serious cases were being neglected.
He stated that there were several other important corruption charges, including benami land deals, violations by Bamloe builders in constructing a residential colony in a green area, Bantonly Castle deal, listed in the charge-sheet and asked Chief Minister to investigate them immediately.
The charge-sheet was drafted under GS Bali and was submitted to the President in 2012. Congress had even propagated the charges listed in its charge-sheet during the 2012 assembly election campaign and promised to take it to the logical end.
