Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh denied the reports of shifting Patta-Mehlog ITI of Solan district. He said that unnecessary rumors were being spread in this regard which was totally false and baseless.
While speaking to a deputation of comprising of 16 Panchayats of Patta-Mehlog area, he said that two separate ITI’s had been sanctioned by the State Government for Patta-Mehlog area and Kuthar area in Solan District.
Chief Minister clarified that the state government had sanctioned ITI for Patta-Mehlog area for which the process for identifying suitable land was in progress while another ITI had been sanctioned for Kuthar area.
The deputation thanked the Chief Minister and requested for immediate transfer of land for the ITI Patta-Mehlog. They also requested him to visit the area to lay the foundation stone of the ITI.
