Congress Jawalamukhi legislature Sanjay Rattan claimed that the only Indian National Congress can safeguard the interests of every section of the society, especially the weak and downtrodden in the society.
He said it while addressing the party workers of Jawalamukhi Block Congress Committee at Jawalamukhi. He added that the Congress party is the custodian of the principles of the secularism and harmony amongst various sections of people of different faiths.
He urged party workers to work for the upliftment of downtrodden and weaker sections of the society and it could be achieved by ensuring that every section gets its due in every sphere of life. First time legislature stated that the downtrodden and weaker sections of the society are the backbone of the Congress and party also guarantee to their rights and interests.
Sanjay Rattan said that it was the Congress which had always taken various initiatives for the uplift of weaker sections. He asked the workers of the region to launch campaign, to make Congress a strong force in the area in view of the forthcoming parliamentary election.
