This dissidence can cost the Congress, Party official nominee has lost twice from Una and with rebellious from Rattan, and it can make Raizada’s campaign more difficult against BJP President Satpal Satti. Rattan is the senior most Congress leader in the constituency. In case he resigns, it may make the cake walk for Satpal Satti.

The Congress MLA from Pragpur, Yog Raj, has announced to contest the Assembly elections from Dehra as an Independent. Yog Raj alleged that he had become the victim of a conspiracy hatched by a section of Congress leaders.
Yog Raj directly blamed former Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee chief Viplove Thakur for denying him the party ticket. He planned a meeting of workers in Dehra tomorrow to exhibit his strength in the area.
In Jwalamukhi block Congress President Nardev Kanwar has threatened to resign over party ticket to Sanjay Rattan. Kanwar vented his ire against state Congress president Virbhadra Singh; he alleged that Virbhadra Singh has adjusted his.
He also indicates to fight election as an independent candidate. Nardev Kanwar is consider close confident to Kaul Singh and during his stint as state president, Kanwar was promoted to the post of block Congress president. His chances received a jolt when Kaul Singh was removed as state party president.
Kanwar had also been claiming the ticket on the plea that with delimitation, the percentage of the Rajput vote bank in Jwalamukhi had increased considerably.
Jwalamukhi is considered the bastion of Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ramesh Dhawala, who was elected from here thrice consecutively. If Kanwar decides to contest as an Independent, the going is likely to get tough for the Congress.
