Himachal Lokhit Party founder and President Maheshwar Singh is hopeful for positive outcome from the forthcoming assembly elections. He claimed that along with his team, who once founded and raised BJP from grassroots and successfully made BJP a major political front in Himachal, his party will be able to repeat history. He claimed the party’s base is increasing as many people are joining hands with HLP. He said that many BJP and Congress workers have joined HLP in last few days and in the coming election his party will give potential third front. He said that to give better option for the Himachal public in the election, his party along with CPM and CPI have formed third front Himachal Lokhit Morcha and will announce common minimum program shortly.
He said that the first and foremost work of Himachal Lokhit Morcha is to give tickets for honest person. However he also cleared that he has not yet decided any constituency for assembly election. He blamed both Congress and BJP for the lack of development in state and added that wrong policies and dishonest leaders have let state down.
