Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) president Maheshwar Singh said the BJP central team, led by BJP general secretary JP Nadda and party in charge for Himachal affairs Shyam Jaju was motivated by the former’s “personal interests”, and the change in the state BJP leadership had only vindicated the HLP’s allegations against the BJP.
Maheshwar Singh take dig at BJP general secretary JP Nadda and said the clean chit given to the state BJP proved that the BJP high command was not addressing the real issues. While addressing the mediaperson at Mandi, Maheshwar Singh blames BJP for the corruption in the State and high command seems not concerned about it at all.
Maheshwar Singh said the HLP had finalised the formalities of the registration of the party which would be done this month and a membership drive was on in the state. Maheshwar Singh declared that HLP will contest all 68 seats in coming assembly election. Maheshwar Singh also distributed copies of Shanka Kumar written book, “Bhrashtachar, Ek Karva Sach”, among the mediapersons.
When mediaperson asked Maheshwar Singh whether Shanta Kumar would join the HLP, he said they had left the decision to him and did not want to pressurize him. However, Kangra BJP MP’s son, Dhairya Sushant, has joined HLP which has provided enough hints of the things to come.
