An Official Spokesman disclosed here today that an open recruitment rally will be held at Police Ground Chamba from 6th to 12th November 2011 for the youth of Kangra and Chamba districts. He said that the eligible candidates should be present at the venue by 5 a.m. as per the recruitment rally schedule.
He said that recruitment for the posts of Soldier Tradesman and Havaldar Education for youth of Kangra, Chamba, Lahaul and Spiti, Kinnaur and Sirmaur districts would be held on 6th November, Soldier Clerk/ SKT, Soldier Technical, Soldier General Duty and DSC for Chamba and Kangra districts candidates on 7th November, Soldier General Duty for Chamba district on 8th November and for Kangra district candidates on 9th and 10th November. Medical examination would be held on 11th and 12th November. The candidates should be between 17 and half and 23 years for the posts of Soldier Clerk/ SKT, Soldier Technical and Soldier Tradesman whereas for the post of Soldier General Duty the age limit would be between 17 and half to 21 years, he said. He said that candidates should bring original documents like Matriculation and 10+2 Certificate, Nativity/Permanent/Resident, Dogra Community and Caste-cum-Character Certificates, 12 copies of recent coloured photographs with date of birth printed on photographs, Sikh candidates must have photographs in turban and must bring two joint photographs with father both in turban, sons of ex-servicemen/widows/ war widows, sports persons should bring relevant certificates.
