Swachhata Prehri Diwas under Total sanitation programme was kicked off from Jagatsukh village in Naggar Block of Distt., Kullu. It’s started by the SDM Manali Rajeshwar Goel. While addressing the gathering Goel disclosed that out of 40 panchayats in Naggar block, 39 panchayats are already declared ODF and one remaining panchayat of Malana will soon be brought under the scheme. He said that April two will be celebrated as Shiksha, Suchna Evam Samajik chetna Diwas and April three as sankalp Diwas April four as Swachh Vatavaran and Vyaktigat Swachhata Diwas in all the district of state. Goel informed that media will also be associated with TSC campaign for this purpose. During these days discussion will be held in panchayats regarding future plans to sustain ODF status in every household. On 4th April all the villagers will be given oath in religious places on sanitation issues and educated people to keep village clean and to promote personal sanitation behavior.
