Under the banner of CITU, laborers at the notorious Om Power Project, where 8 laborers have died so far, protested against the Management and state government. Protesters shouted slogans against the Minister and burnt his effigy. They were upset with the lethargic government attitude toward the project management and demanded for the stringent action against the culprit. 2 laborers have lost their lives in the past 10 days due to poor safety measures.
