Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal dedicated and performed foundation stone laying ceremony of various developmental projects valued at over Rs. 17 crore at Jukhala in Naina Devi Assembly segment of district Bilaspur today. He dedicated building of Government Degree College, at Jukhala, completed at a cost of Rs. 8.90 crore and laid foundation stone of residential accommodation of Degree College estimated to cost Rs. 96.57 lakh.
He dedicated Irrigation Scheme for Jukhala which had been completed at a cost of Rs. 1.88 crore and laid foundation stone of Water Harvesting structure at Jukhala, estimated to cost Rs. 131.50 lakh. He dedicated newly constructed Community Health Centre Building, Markand, to the residents of the area, completed at a cost of Rs. 2.30 crore, and Science Block of Government Senior Secondary School, Jukhala completed at the cost of Rs. 60 lakh. He laid foundation stone of Way Side Amenities-cum-Café of Tourism Department at Jukhala, which would cater facilities to the visitors. He also inaugurated 3.5 kms. Long link road from NH 88 to village Seola, completed at a cost of Rs. 45 lakh to the residents of the area.
Chief Minister was accompanied by Anurag Thakur, MP Lok Sabha and National President, BJYM, Randheer Sharma, local MLA, Daulat Ram Thakur, Chairman, APMC, Ranjit Singh, President, District Bilaspur BJP and other senior officers of the district.
