Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) leader Maheshwar Singh has demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal for his Govt role in sanctioning a thermal plant to Jaypee Industries at Bagheri in Solan district. Addressing a meeting of HLP activists at Bani in the Badsar sub-division, he said:
After the state high court’s recent judgment on the thermal plant of Jaypee Industries, Chief Minister has no right to continue as the Chief Minister of the state and he should resign from the post immediately
Maheshwar Singh added that the ruling BJP has become a party of traders today and corruption is at its zenith in the state.
