Chief Electoral Officer Narinder Chauhan informed that a special campaign is being conducted to register the eligible young voters of 18-19 years of age in all the 68 assembly constituencies upto 15th January, 2012.
Chauhan urged the voters to verify their names in the list. He said that the voters lists were available in the offices of concerned Registration Officers (ADM/SDM), Assistant Registration Officers (Tehsildars/Naib Tehsildars) and added that the unregistered voters could get themselves enrolled by applying on Draft 6 alongwith two passport size photographs. The voter cards would be issued to them on National Voters Day on 25th January, 2012, he added.
