Shimla: Union Health Minister JP Nadda got a rousing welcome on his first visit after becoming Union Minister at different points from Parwanoo to Shimla.
He thanked party workers for their support and asked them to work towards strengthening party in the state. Nadda said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given responsibility on his shoulders and he would work hard to do justice to his post.
State Party President Satpal Satti, Shimla MP, Virendra Kashyap, Shimla MLA, Suresh Bhardwaj, senior leaders Gulab Singh Thakur and Jai Ram Thakur were also present.
Union Health Minister also called on Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh and discussed various issues related to strengthening of health infrastructure in the State.
Chief Minister honoured Nadda and congratulated him on assuming the charge of Union Health Minister. He hoped that the issues relating to health sector in the State would be accorded added attention.
Nadda promised to give all possible help to the state government. He assured to consider Himachal’s demands pertaining to health sector sympathetically, whether it is about funding or any other approval.
